Please see below your new Champion for 2022!

Emma Brown, who only turned 50 at the end of last year, came to Richmond for the first time and won her first Championship after 3 very tough days.

I would like to say thank you to all those who took part in the event, the 64 ladies on the first day, all those who played in the Tri-Am, and especially to the 16 ladies who qualified for the match play.  Without your participation, the event would not have been so successful.

I also have to thank:

  • Patsy and Karen for all their hours of preparation - and work to sort out Club V1 issues during the 3 days.  And to Amy, our Secretary, for working so tirelessly as go between V1 and Karen to find a 'work around' solution to the issues
  • Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club for all their hard work on the course, the catering, providing huge quantities of tea and generally making everyone feel welcome.
Hopefully, now some of you have found Richmond, you will come again to play and/or support our Richardson Trophy Team.

A fuller report and more photos will be available on the Championship page once Karen has had a chance to get home and rest.  Please check again in a couple of days.

With best wishes to all  Penny
