1. ACTIVE HANDICAPS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL YSLGA COMPETITIONS
2. ALL SINGLES and 4BBB COMPETITIONS WILL BE QUALIFYING
3. ALL BUGGY USERS IN 2024 COMPETITIONS MUST HAVE A WRITTEN MEDICAL CERTIFICATE/LETTER LODGED WITH THE YSLGA COMPETITION SECRETARY
4. PLEASE OBSERVE THE DRESS CODE OF THE CLUB THAT YOU ARE PLAYING COMPETITIONS AT

INSURANCE
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
The YSLGA has Public Liability Insurance (& Employers Liability Insurance for unpaid volunteers) cover in place for named & dated county events in 2024 in respect of all directly related golf activities using the facilities of the declared venues
The cover strictly EXCLUDES ANY PARTICIPANT TO PARTICIPANT DAMAGE unless the cause is directly attributable to the Organisation(s) negligence
PERSONAL INSURANCE
Although all YSLGA events are covered by insurance taken out by the Association, we do recommend that our members take out personal insurance & would recommend that anyone seeking insurance considers the England Golf offer.
England Golf has collaborated with Marsh Sport, part of global insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh, to provide £10m personal liability insurance for all its affiliated club members.
It provides personal liability insurance for golf club members in the event that they are held liable for injuring someone or causing serious property damage at a golf facility.
The cover is provided for members playing at any club in the UK. There is no excess in respect of personal injury claims, and just a £500 excess in respect of damage to third party property.

Due to many of the 2024 YSLGA competitions being heavily over subscribed there are reserve lists for each of the competitions that are currently full.
